Hello, Your Money is Calling!
Hellomycash is the nonbank bank with a big idea---Much like Western Union is the money transfer agent of choice in the real world, and PayPal is online, Hellomycash wants to be the way to send (spend and save) money for mobile. More convenient than an ATM, banking by phone is easy and fun to use.
We are not a bank. we do not want to be a bank. We have to have partner banks that lets us keep the money in their bank. We just handle the movement of money. The bank is providing us, on a wholesale level, the ability to store that money.
We have relationships with multiple banks which is similar to how PayPal uses two banks. They use Chase and Wells Fargo. Historically companies buy wholesale services from different providers and, depending on their capabilities, buyers can be selective where they go for those wholesale services.
If you look at what we are doing with our midwest banking partners, which is the model we will scale to the NFL that relationship is unique. Our bank has acknowledged Ramscash with the stored value of debit card. They also want to allow their customers to get XBank Ramscash so they will allow Hellomycash to connect directly to their customer accounts. We are excited about the possibility of this service taking off and other banks wanting similar services.
Your Phone is doing stuff that isn’t particularly “phoney” anymore
Transfering and sending money regardless of your cell phone provider or bank is an awesome value proposition. Allowing non-Hellomycash members to receive money will help us grow socially over the long term, a kind of hotmail on steroids; when you get a text "You've got money. Just sign up and spend it."
Everything is moving away from the web and towards the phone. Consequently, e mails will not be as valuable as phone numbers. Our sponsors can interact with our fans, "pinging" them with Bud/Energizer/Circuit City ...Coupons, Rams/Jets/Colts... Cash, and other opt in permission based marketing campaigns. More importantly, allowing them to not only spend but also load their prepaid debit card at their retail location, enables their phone to become a POS, point of sale device.
This is the Off Portal=SponsorDirect To Consumer approach, but it can be sold as On Portal bank-branded,team-branded or carrier-branded service.
The off-portal, however, is the Long Tail of banking, with the "net effect" of exponential growth. After all, The "cost of production" to send one e mail or 1 million e mails is the same=$0.
Can your analog eyes see the digital world of money now? the Amazonation of banking, the napsterization of cutting the middleman out. Off- portal is a turn key solution, amplifying innovation.
The strongest marketing tool is the first 20,000 people who buy/use the service.
Just like itunes, that sells by the song and "unbundles" the album, RamsCash is microbanking--like buying a single song. Making a single transaction that is carrier agnostic and bank agnostic "unbundles" banking. It is selling less of more. It is peer to peer. It is the mother of all markets---a mass market of niche microgroups that incur no cost overheads to manage but, for each transaction, creates a small profit. As the mass of niche transactions build, the small profits become big profits. This is not far off what banking does anyway – processes massive volumes of small transactions – but, right now, banks focus upon making money out of account management.
The niche strategy of mobile is not lifeboat economics, where there is a scarcity of banks and customers (mainstream markets and resources) and there is a risk of survival. It is universal banking for ther YOUniverse.Carriers( US Cellular and Verizon etc) have a built in payment system, yet they don’t provide banking services, they provide mobile payment services. Yet, they can be the "sponsor" of RamsCash too. So can Pay Pal, or the official team bank . Cool!
A lot of people are buying digital content and paying for it by having it charged to their phone bill. In that aspect carriers worldwide are already in the mobile payment business. We have established carrier relationships who want to offer services like Ramscash. We have that relationship with our sports marketing partners. We are building it with other carriers around the world. Our current deal is primarily a distribution relationship and marketing partnership. We provide 100% of the service. They market it and distribute it.
Social Banking-Famous For 15 PEOPLE!

The individual is the new group and the epicenter of social context. You don't need a basic understanding on real-time, collaborative and social technologies to get that markets are conversations, and the future is conversational. In a bit of irony, the YOUniverse bears some of the marketing "cost" by propagating the messege.
Ever needed to split a check, pay back or lend money to a friend? RamsCash enables you to send money mobile to mobile, instantly. User will receive a text message as well as an email notification. The real grail, however, is international transfers and with 3 billion cell phones on the planet, bringing banking to the masses. The US, by the way, is still the number one sender of remittances all over the world. Sending money back home? Just press "talk." +
+According to the World Bank, today there are 191 million migrants sending over US$ 270 Billion annually, with the G8 markets accounting for 46% of global remittance financial flows. More than $65 billion was wired back to Latin America and
the Caribbean last year . Based on current growth rates -- the remittance market to Latin America alone could reach $300 billion by the end of 2010
Ramscash is just like direct deposit from your employer, figuratively and literally. In fact, it disrupts third party payroll companies--It cuts them out completely.
Employers can simply "load" employees accounts with their salaries. No paperwork! We partner with the banks, so you can do anything with your Ramscash account that you do with your bank account. This is what makes Hellomycash so cool. Think of us as the front office, the last mile to the customer.
The reason Google or Craig's List can sell advertising cheaper is that they don't have to pay for the journalism. Likewise, RamsCash doesn't have to pay for salaries, buildings-brick and mortar stuff, thus lowering the transaction cost.
We have two on going projects in the form of pilot programs that ultimately will lead to commercial agreements.
Tipping Point? The Law of the Few contends that before widespread popularity can be attained, a few key types of people must champion an idea, concept, or product before it can reach the tipping point. Gladwell describes these key types as Connectors, Mavens, and Salesmen. If individuals representing all three of these groups endorse and advocate a new idea, it is much more likely that it will tip into exponential success.
People don't actually talk on their phones-they step into them like saunas---it's visceral, felt-deep down.
You don't have to be a navaho code breaker to use a cell phone. The napsterization of cutting out the middleman, the tivoization time shifting of on-demand entertainment , plus the CNN effect, the 24 hour news cycle has brought us to this moment: the long tail of banking and the Amazonation of banking.
It has taken some of the quo out of the blue chip status "business as usual". Leading the way is the cult of the amateur--"Why do I have to have a bank do it, when I can do it myself". The remote cotrol, the VCR,Tivo, did not free us from watching less TV; it made watching it a perfectly self-centered experience. The phone is doing the same thing.
Making oneself obsolete is actually easier than waiting for the competition to do so. Traditional banks have a choice: be part of the steamroller or part of the pavement. Chasing the Long Tail of the unbanked, underbanked and just downright hipsters with the branded bank has to include a mobile option. RamsCash allows banks to take deposits from people outside of their area of trade. Places where they have no branches at all. This completely blows up the previous model of banks as bastions of reliability and safe keeping. Oh well...
As lifestyles become increasingly mobile worldwide, the banking industry, Financial institutions (FIs) and carriers have the opportunity to take the lead in the next generation of banking by delivering innovative applications.
When I say, what the ipod did for music, Ramscash will do for money this is what I mean, The Mp3 has changed the way we think and interact with music. It shrinks space. Mobile Banking shrinks space too, because banking is no longer defined as real estate.+
+Mobile banking insinuates itself into transactions never before subject to technical intervention. It's the bits verses atoms (vinyl records verses digital). The sheer physics of money---Bits being the smallest possible piece of matter= the Penny, verses, Atoms, the smallest possible piece of information=1's and 0's.
My phone is so money so "Put It on My Phone!"
Download the Ramscash app onto your phone ---it will work with most all of the major phone models and carriers, just tell us which one. Then you go to oue website and load up your account with cash . The money becomes available to your phone almost immediately, and after that you can send money from your phone to anyone else who has Ramscash installed on their phone as well. The transfer only takes about a minute. The Ramscash bank partner takes .10 cents for every transaction.
The interface is simple and intuitive. Once inside the Ramscash app you can scroll through your address book and choose the person you want to send money to. A PIN number is required before making the transaction, and you can add a message too.
Each account comes with a (prepaid) MasterCard debit card, which you can take straight to an ATM and use to make a withdrawal from your phone. There is no annual fee associated with the card (for now). The card is essential because there are few merchants who accept Ramscash to date. That soon will change soon.
Mission To Mars-Blue Sky-ing...
